Courses are listed alpha-numerically. Course numbers beginning with 0 are developmental in nature and do not count toward any Florida Tech degree. Course numbers beginning with 1, 2, 3 and 4 indicate undergraduate courses, and those beginning with 5 and 6 indicate graduate courses. Undergraduate students may take 5000 level courses, and graduate students may take 3000- and 4000-level courses, if permitted by policy.
Courses that may be taken in fulfillment of undergraduate core requirements are designated following the course descriptions: COM: communication elective, HU: humanities elective, and SS: social science elective. Other courses that satisfy undergraduate core requirements are identified by the course prefix: any 1000-level or higher MTH course can be used toward meeting the mathematics requirement, as well as BUS 2703 , EST 2703 and PSY 4514 ; and any AVS, BIO, CHM, ENS, MAR, MET, OCN, PHY, SPS or SUS course, or EDS 1031 or EDS 1032 , can be used toward meeting the physical/life sciences requirement.
Courses can also be designated as: LA: liberal arts elective, Q: scholarly inquiry requirement, CC: cultural competency and Hon: course may include honors sections during some semesters. These designations follow the course descriptions.
