The Artificial Intelligence Undergraduate Certificate program provides students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in AI applications, ethical considerations and specialized AI topics. The program consists of seven courses. Three of these (9 credit hours) are prerequisites overlapping with the core undergraduate curriculum: COM 1101, COM 1102, and HUM core 1 or HUM core 2. The primary certificate courses are EDS 1006 Using AI Effectively (3 credit hours), HUM 3572 AI Ethics (3 credit hours) and two additional AI-related elective courses (at least 6 total credit hours) selected from the two sets of listed courses.
