BME 5600 Biomedical Data Science and AI

Introduces the data science and artificial intelligence approaches for biomedical data. Provides an overview of common data science and machine learning techniques; specific emphasis is placed on those of high relevance to biomedical domains such as models that are able to handle data scarcity and explainable AI techniques. Incorporates a learning-by-doing approach, and students gain experience with real-world biomedical, health and health care data.
