BME 3271 Biomaterials and Biomechanics Lab

Credit Hours: 2
Introduces statistics, experimental design, and methods to test and characterize classes of biomaterials used in biomedical engineering. Includes polymers, metals, ceramics and composites; mechanical properties of biological tissues; empirical observation; data collection, interpretation and presentation; and instrumentation uncertainty. 
Prerequisite: BME 2081 , BME 3260 , and BME 3081    Corequisite: BME 3081
