The graduate certificate in marketing communication is a four-course program that gives the skills necessary to expand areas of responsibility and/or move into positions of strategic leadership. The program draws courses from the global strategic communication program, including, BUS 5470 Marketing Management , COM 5110 Strategic Communication , COM 5340 Services Marketing Communication and COM 5420 Special Topics in Communication or courses designed to build on students’ backgrounds. Students who complete the certificate can choose to continue in the global strategic communication graduate program at Florida Tech; these courses can be transferred toward the master’s degree.
Admission requirements include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA and two letters of recommendation.
The certificate is awarded to students who complete the four courses (12 credit hours) with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. All courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C.
