Key topics encompass statistical techniques used to understand how systems behave and optimize their performance, including hypothesis testing; data collection issues such as survey data, reliability, accuracy of measured data; data measurement tools and techniques; statistical process control; design of experiment methods; full and fractional designs and multiple regression analysis.
SYS 5350 and background knowledge equivalent to MTH 2401 recommended.
