This interdisciplinary program incorporates lessons from the public and private sectors and across industries to develop students’ leadership competencies that can be applied in both their professional and personal lives.

Evidence-based. The program provides students with a foundational knowledge of leadership theories and research, based on classic and current leadership literature.

Practical. Individual and group projects teach students how to apply this knowledge to their current situation and the real world.

Interrelated. Leadership in organizations involves a complex system that includes the leader, followers, the organization and the environment. The courses in this program are designed to build upon one another to enable students to integrate and synthesize information across the complex leadership system and ultimately create new solutions to novel problems.

The program is ideally suited for working professionals, current managers and leaders who wish to enhance their leadership skills and improve their career prospects. Students will learn leadership skills they can immediately apply in their current role, as well as develop skills to reach the next level.
