Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate

GCP Code: 8003 Degree Awarded: Graduate Certificate
Delivery Mode(s): Online Age Restriction: No
Admission Status: Graduate Location/s: Main Campus - Melbourne, Professional Development

The ABA graduate certificate is suited for students who have a graduate degree and who want to develop professionally by specializing in behavior analysis. Completion of the 18-credit course sequence in this program will allow students holding a minimum of a master’s degree in a BACB-approved field from an accredited university and who go on to obtain the supervised field experience required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), to qualify for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination. The BACB has approved this course sequence (ACS 4038) as meeting the instructional requirements for eligibility to take the BCBA examination.

To earn the certificate, students must complete all courses with a minimum grade of B. Students completing one or more equivalent courses from another institution may be able to meet instructional requirements for the BCBA credential; however, the BACB is the only organization that can determine whether or not students who mix coursework from more than one approved course sequence will meet those requirements.
