Delivery Mode(s): Online Age Restriction: No
Admission Status: Graduate Location/s: Main Campus - Melbourne, Professional Development

The assistant graduate certificate program is suited for those who have a bachelor’s degree and want to develop professionally before, or instead of, seeking a graduate degree. Completion of the 12-credit course sequence will allow students who hold a minimum of an undergraduate degree from an accredited university and who go on to obtain the supervised field experience required by the BACB, to qualify to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) examination. The BACB has approved this course sequence (ACS 4039) as meeting the instructional requirements for eligibility to take the BCaBA examination.

To earn the certificate, students must complete all courses with a minimum grade of B. Students completing one or more equivalent courses from another institution may be able to meet instructional requirements for the BCBA credential; however, the BACB is the only organization that can determine whether or not students who mix coursework from more than one approved course sequence will meet those requirements.
