The Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis Practice involves 33 semester credit hours of coursework and meets the instructional and degree requirements to sit for the BCBA® (Board Certified Behavior Analyst®) credential examination Florida Tech faculty and ABA online co-instructors help students integrate academic curricula with applied situations. Students have an option to complete either a final program examination or a capstone project supervised by Florida Tech faculty.

Admission Requirements

All applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Only applicants with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher will be considered for admission into the program.

Applicants must submit a graduate application with the accompanying fee, résumé/CV and official transcripts of all previous coursework.

Degree Requirements

The Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis Practice degree will be conferred upon students who complete a minimum of 33 semester credits and either a final program examination or a 3-semester long capstone project. All courses must be passed with a grade of B or better. The final program examination consists of a multiple-choice examination simulating the Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification examination at the behavior analyst (BCBA) level and covers material from the verified course sequence (VCS). The final program examination is administered toward the end of the student’s last (typically sixth) semester.
