The Master of Business Administration – Cybersecurity degree program is a graduate professional program that emphasizes the breadth of preparation in various disciplines required for business alongside depth of knowledge in the Cybersecurity domain. The degree may be completed in two years or less and provides the high-level knowledge and range of skills to meet the challenges of today’s enterprise security needs. Students will gain valuable knowledge in risk management, security operations management, evaluating security threats, and managing a business focused on cybersecurity services. Rooted in the case method approach, this intensive MBA program offers a uniquely collaborative, hands-on education.

Admission Requirements

The applicant to the master of business administration program must have a bachelor’s degree; however, the degree need not be in business administration. Applicants who are graduates of non-business programs are also encouraged to apply. An applicant is assigned an advisor soon after acceptance into the M.B.A. program and should meet with the advisor to prepare a program plan outlining the courses needed for the M.B.A. degree.

The admissions decision is based on a review of the application documentation including work experience, academic performance, references and written statement of purpose.

A GMAT or GRE is not required but will be accepted as an additional source to review. Work, as well as academic references and a quality statement of purpose, are critical to an effective evaluation.

Curriculum

Students actively engage in case study analysis and exercise leadership and teamwork skills. In addition to the core business fundamentals, students gain specialized skills in strategic information technology and management. The program combines academic principles and practical, realworld applications to result in a solid business foundation.

Not all courses are offered online every term. See this two-year course offering projection and remember to check prerequisites/co-requisites before registering.
