Credit Hours: 3Covers bending, shear and torsion of open and closed sections, bending of thin plates, structural instability, and stress analysis of components. Introduces finite element methods, airworthiness and elementary aeroelasticity. Stresses design issues in all topics. Prerequisite: AEE 3083 and (MTH 2201 or MTH 3200)
