CIS 5310 Legal and Ethical Aspects of Information Systems

Credit Hours: 3
Investigates legal and ethical foundations of information systems. Discusses intellectual property, copyrights, patents, trademarks/domains, privacy, free speech, the Fifth Amendment, contracts and employment law. Requires a semester project on research and presentation of case law and precedents.
